2012 Season Software Installation

1) Uninstall / Delete last year's windriver.  Otherwise it will cause licensing errors.
2) Read the pdf on the jump drive's before installing products!

Stevie Software Updates

Just another friendly reminder, the code repository for our code has moved over to git and google.  It is located at

So we have had some issues with Stevie last night.  The reason he would not drive is because the joystick class I created to replace previous year's confusing class was not reading the axis or buttons properly.  Also, the code seems to be running in a faster loop than it should be.  For thursday (1/12/12) I would like to test / setup the following:
  1. Fix the Joystick class to recognize the axis properly as well as the buttons.
  2. Update the Jaguars to firmware v100
  3. Determine what loop speed TeleoperatedPeriodic and TeleoperatedContinous are running at.
  4. Start mapping some sort of feedback to the driver's station.
On a brighter note, Stevie was moving by the end of the night.  Just not quite the way he should be.
